Tusum Valley Trekking

Aptly called the "hidden valley", Tsum valley is loacated in the remote northern Gorkha region of Nepal. The valley is nestled between the Baudha Himal and Himal Chuli to the west, Ganesh Himal to the south, and Sringi Himal to the north. Owing to its distant location, inadequate information and promotion, trekking route to this region was only opened in October, 2007. This is a short trek from around Pokhara. In this trek one can have the amazing panorama of mountain, including Annapruna South (7,219 m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail - 6,997 m), Annapurna II (7,937 m) and Lamjung Himal (6,983 m) and in the distance Manaslu (8,163 m), Ngadi Chuli (Peak 29) and Himalchuli (7,892 m). The inhabitants of this area are mainly Brahmins and Chhetri, though you reach Siklis - the largest Gurung village in Nepal with 700 houses, a chance to see traditional Nepalese hill life. In the springtime, you can see white orchids and other flora in the forest. This is one of the areas where only a few tourists can be seen.

Day 04 : Drive: Begnas Lake, Trek to Kalikasthan, camp
Day 05 : Trek to Lama Khet, camp
Day 06 : Trek to Siklish, camp
Day 07 : Explore Siklish village and side trip, camp
Day 08 : Trek to Bhaisikarka, camp
Day 09 : Trek to Ghale Gaon, camp
Day 10 : Trek to Puranochour and drive to Pokhara, hotel
Day 11 : Drive to Chitwan National Park, resort
Day 12 : Full day activities in Royal Chitwan National Park, resort
Day 13 : After the morning program drive back to Kathmandu, hotel
Day 14 : Half day of sight seeing in Kathmandu Valley, hotel
Day 15 : Final departure, transfer to airport
