Everest View TrekEverest view (Panorama) trek is a short classic trek to the Everest, ideal for those not willing to walk all the way to Everest base camp or those not having longer holiday. This trek offers classic, close views of Everest and other Khumbu mountains as well as cultural insight on the lives of the legendary Sherpas of the Everest region. Everest Panorama itinerary is creatively designed to capture Nepal's beauty, people & culture in the shortest period of time. The trek to the Everest region is one of our most rewarding journeys! To give you a look into the heart of the villages of these people we offer an exceptional 8 days trek featuring a wide range of spectacular scenery combined with unique cultural encounters with the kindhearted Sherpa people who inhabit these high altitude regions.

Everest view (Panorama) trek takes us straight into the heart of the Khumbu with the short flight to Lukla. We soon enter Sagarmatha National Park and trek toward Namche Bazaar where we have time to visit the Sherpa museum and watch the sunset on Mt Everest and the Lhotse/Nuptse wall. We spend a night at Tengboche to enjoy the 360' mountain panorama and visit the monastery where we may be lucky enough to witness a ceremony. From here we descend to the picturesque villages of Khumjung and Thame. The ancient gompa at Khumjung contains some grotesque masks of demons and you can be shown the fabled yeti scalp. Visiting a succession of Sherpa villages, surrounded by fluttering prayer flags and glistening snow-capped peaks, the popular myth of 'Shangri La' will seem all-too-real. On our return to Kathmandu, there is the option of taking an early morning 'Everest Flight' for a dramatic finale. Suitable for any weekend hiker, this short trek offers an excellent introduction to the delights of trekking in the Himalayas, including those all-important views of Mount Everest.

Day to Day Itinerary for the Everest View Trek:

Day 01 Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)
Welcome to Himalayan country of Nepal. Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan intl. airport our representative welcomes you and assists to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu and briefing about your trip and overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing & trek preparation
After breakfast the day will start to our guided trip to cultural world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley; the pilgrimage sites of Hindus temple Pashupatinath, the world biggest Bouddhanath stupa and visit Swoyambhunath Stupa also known as monkey temple. After exploring the surrounding areas visit historical Kathmandu Durbar Square with temple, unique architectures and Kumari (living goddess). Evening pre-trip discussion and introduce with our fellow trekking staff for your adventure trip.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft) & trek to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft), 3-4 hrs walk
Early morning we fly from Kathmandu to the tiny airstrip at Lukla for about 40 minutes scenic flight; you will have time to stroll around, while the guide sort and divide the load baggage to be carried by porters. Guide will manage the lunch place depending upon the time of arrival at Lukla. We then take an easy walk to Phakding village for the overnight stop and rest of the time stroll around the village for local knowledge.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft), 5-6 hrs walk
After breakfast we will continue up the banks of the Dudh Kosi, crossing it twice by small suspension bridges before reaching the village of Monjo the entrance gate of the Sagarmatha National Park. When enter the National park boundary we descend and a gradual walk brings us to the suspension bridge over the Bhote-Koshi river to Jorsalle village, the last village till Namche Bazaar. Namche is a prosperous trading town and the capital of the Khumbu Region.

Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar
We will spend a day in Namche Bazaar resting and allowing our bodies to become acclimatized to the altitude of (3,440m/11,283ft). You have full day leisure or visit Everest View Point hotel for wonderful panoramic view or stroll around the market, if Saturday can be seen many people in Saturday market for shopping to fulfill their daily needs and only one shopping market in the surrounding areas. Also you can visit Sherpa Museum as well a great place to learn Sherpa culture and history of mountaineering and stroll back to hotel for overnight.

Day 06: Trek to Tyangboche (3,867m/12684ft), 5-6 hrs walk
Today after breakfast we start our trek with pleasant walk through the forest with magnificent view of mountains. The great view of the mighty peaks of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kwangde peak with view of the eastern snow capped mountains. The trail leads up hill through the forested path and the hardly walk to get to Tyangboche. One of the most beautiful place in the Himalaya and the first thing that comes to your eye is the big Monastery, then the large field with campsites and teahouses, lodges beneath the towering majestic beautiful peak Ama Dablam.

Day 07: Trek to Khumjung (3750m/12,300ft), 4-5 hrs walk
Trek down to Phungithanka a small settlement with couple of teahouses. The trail leads down hill through the forested path and after crossing the suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi river trek onwards to the Sanasa from where we split the way to Namche and short climb to hidden valley called Khumjung village, probably the biggest village of the areas and visit Hillary school established by Sir Edmond Hillary and visit Monastery of Khumjung where still can be seen the Yeti scalp and explore the surrounding local Sherpa village and with a great memories overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Trek to Thame (3,800m/12,464ft), 4-5 hrs walk
Today, after breakfast, we head up to Khunde village where a place of famous climber and big hospital running by charity, after a great moments trek to Syangboche airstrip which is the world highest airstrip and with a scenic mountain view trek to the Thame village, which is a popular village for Mountain scenery, world famous Sherpa climbers, monastery and many more with Himalayan wildlife. A superb view of Mountain to the west part and afternoon visit Monastery and rest of the time spend chatting with local Sherpa people, starting mountaineering profession as well as their lifestyle and rest and relax at the home of world famous climbers.

Day 09: Trek to Monju (2680M/8791ft), 5-6 hrs walk
This day we trek to the Namche passing through the Mende village and superb scenery of the beautiful Mountains. We will have a lunch at Namche and we walk further down to Monju for overnight.

Day 10: Trek to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft), 4-5 hrs walk
After breakfast we trek back with enjoying the lush green scenery around and passing through the incredible mountain scenery and local Sherpa village. And finally today the trail leads you back to Lukla. After your arrival in Lukla you will have time to relax and celebrate the completion of your trek.

Day 11: Fly back to Kathmandu.
After an early morning flight to Kathmandu our guide transfer you to your hotel. You may have time to relax after your journey and take back your breath and rest at your hotel with ending your Himalayan trip with us.

Day 12: Departure from Kathmandu
Today is free or last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives for you until your departure flight/drive or to commence any extra trips or activities you may have booked with us. If departing, you'll be transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination.
