Everest High Passes TrekEverest Luxury Lodge Trekking is the perfect for those wishing to experience the Everest region's spectacular landscape without going to altitude extremes and whilst maintaining home comforts. This luxury trek is a perfect introduction to the Everest Khumbu area, the most famous region in the entire Himalaya. We visit Sherpa villages and Tengboche monastery, which offers views of Mt. Everest rising behind the Lhotse-Nuptse wall and other surrounding peaks.Flying in from Kathmandu we descend amid an incredible mountain landscape to the remote yet bustling mountain airstrip at Lukla. From here we spend ten days trekking from luxury lodge to luxury lodge.

Everest Luxury Treks provides the highest standards of accommodation in the region, featuring electricity, comfortable heated rooms, en-suite bathrooms with hot showers and western styled flush toilets. We walk five to six hours a day, visiting the main Sherpa villages and enjoying excellent views.

Itinerary for Everest Luxury Trek:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1330m)
You will be met by our office representative and transferred to the hotel.Remainder day at leisure at Hotel. A pre-trek briefing will be given where arrangements will be made for the distribution of your kit bag, sleeping bag and down/fiberfill jacket.

Day 02: In Kathmandu
After breakfast the day will start to our guided trip to cultural world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley; including visits to the pilgrimage sites of Hindus Pashupatinath temple, the world biggest Bouddhanath Stupa, visit Swoyambhunath Stupa also known as monkey temple and historical Kathmandu Durbar Square with temple, unique architectures and Kumari (living goddess) in central Kathmandu. Evening pre-trip discussion and introduce with our fellow trekking staff for your adventure trip.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla & trek to Monjo (2800m/9184ft), 4-5 hrs walk
Early morning we fly from Kathmandu to the tiny airstrip at Lukla for about 40 minutes scenic flight; you will have time to stroll around, while the guide sort and divide the load baggage to be carried by porters. Guide will manage the lunch place depending upon the time of arrival at Lukla. As per our schedule we start our trek up to Monjo village where we have first overnight at country of Sherpa village.

Day 04:Trek,Manjo to Namche Bazar at 3470mtrs,5-6hrs.
After breakfast we will continue up pass through the Sagarmatha National Park entrance and on past Jorsale. Last steps of Namche climbing this is quite steeply uphill but this is scenic part of walking through the beautiful Pine forest and from some point can be seen the 1st view of Mt. Everest. After crossing the Hilary suspension the trail starts the climb to Namche Bazaar. There is a good excuse for a break half way up where Everest becomes visible for the first time. We normally reach Namche by lunch time and check into the hotel in Namche.

Day 05: Trek to Tashinga (3450m/11316ft), 2-3 hrs walk
After breakfast at the hotel we start our trek further 2 hrs walking gently with a scenic view of surrounding mountain including Mt. Everest and finally check in to our lodge in Tashinga where we'll stay tonight.

Day 06: Day excursion to Tengboche Monastery (3,873 m) 5 /6 hrs walk
The day begins with a descent to the small hamlet of Phunki Tenga, beside the Dudh Kosi. From here we cross a suspension bridge before beginning a steep ascent for about an hour. This part of the trek is quite heavily forested by rhododendron and pine, so it is well shaded and cool. Once out of the forest, the trail becomes gentle and gradual for another 1.5 hours, all the way up to the monastery. The setting of Thyangboche is magical and it is incredible to think that the temple was burned down a few years ago and re-built largely through the efforts of the Sir Edmund Hillary Trust. After lunch and explorates of the monastery and its surroundings, return to Tashinga for your over night stay.

Day 07: Tashinga to Mende (3500m/11480ft), 4-5 hrs walk
After breakfast your day begins to trek downhill to the hidden valley called Khumjung village, probably the biggest village of the areas and visit Hillary school established by Late Sir Edmond Hillary and visit Monastery with Yeti Head.You may have chance to meet many famous climbers in Khumjung & Khunde valley where is a big hospital running by charity. We head further to Village of Mende where we stay overnight and rest of the time enjoys exploring surrounding areas.

Day 08: Day excursion to Thame (3820m/12,530ft), 5-6 hrs walk
Today we visit Thame village, the sight of the Mani Rimdu ceremony each autumn. This valley drains the Nanga La, the pass crossing into Tibet which has been the traditional trading route between these two countries for centuries. This place locates with great view and most of the famous climbers from this village. This village called village of Snow Leopard and on our return to Mende we take time to explore the small but impressive Karag Monastery near Thamo, one of the highlights on the route.

Day 09: Mende to Phakding (2610m/8561ft), 4-5 hrs walk
This morning after a great Himalayan experience at Mende we descending to Namche is an easy day of rolling hills and switchbacks as we cruise back down to the trading center of the Khumbu. After Lunch at Namche we retract back to Phakding for the overnight.

Day 10: Phakding to Lukla (2800m/9184ft), 3-4 hrs walk
From Phakding we trek back to the Lukla village. After your arrival at Lukla you have time to stroll around the areas and guide will re-confirm your flight ticket and enjoy the last celebrate dinner with your crew member and overnight at Hotel.

Day 11: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu.
After an early morning flight to Kathmandu our guide transfer you to your hotel. You may have time to relax after long journey and take back your breath and rest at your hotel with ending your Himalayan trip with us.

Day 12: Leisure at Kathmandu
It's also spare day in case of bad weather in Lukla. This pleasant day you may have full day at leisure at your own or can be extends your extra trip with us on additional cost or time to explore the Thamel for last day shopping and evening company will meet you for the farewell dinner.

Day 13: Departure from Kathmandu
Today is free or last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives for you until your departure flight/drive or to commence any extra trips or activities you may have booked with us. If departing, you'll be transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination.
