The world's fifth highest mountain. Formerly a restricted area, it spans five major ecological zones where can be found the lush, tropical Arun Valley, dense forests or rhododendron and fir and alpine meadows that lead to the might Barun glacier. From the base camp, any one can view the spectacular Mt. Makalu.
This mainly low altitude trek is centered on the Arun Valley, in eastern Nepal. The sub-tropical valley floor of the mighty Arun River is in places densely forested, contrasting with the terraced slopes higher up, which are farmed by villagers of diverse tribal groups. High pastures typify the upper slopes, which border on the Makalu-Barun National Park, an important conservation area for many threatened species.

Day 03; Fly to Tumlingtar (510m)/ Camp
Day 04; Trek to Mani Bhajyang (1180m)
Day 05: Trek to Chichira (1910m)
Day 06: Trek to Num (1560m)
Day 07: Trek to Navagaon (2140m)
Day 08: Trek to Tashigaon (2250m)
Day 09: Trek to Kauma (3610m)
Day 10: Numbuck
Day 11: Sarsung
Day 12: Makalu B. C.
Day 13: Numbuck
Day 14: Khongma
Day 15: Sedua - Mure, Descend across Arun and through Num camp at Mure. .
Day 16: Mure – Khandbari, Along the ridge and down to Khandbari.
Day 17: Khandbari– Tumlingtar – Kathmandu
Day 18: At Leisure in Kathmandu. O/N Kathmandu Hotel. An opportunity to relax and reflect on your adventures and to complete any sightseeing and last minute shopping.
Day 19: Departure, Today is free to relax until departure or to commence any additional trips or activities you may have booked. If departing, you will transferred to the International Airport in time for your return flight home.
